Allison received her LLB from the University of Calgary in 2010 after completing her undergraduate studies and receiving a B. A. Hons from the University of Toronto. Allison was admitted to the bar in September 2011.
Allison consults and practices in all aspects of family law including but not limited to all aspects of parenting, all support matters – child support, spousal support, retroactive support, ongoing support, Division of Matrimonial Property (Family Law Property), Adult Interdependent Partner matters (common -law matters), Agreements (Prenuptial, Cohabitation, Post-Nuptial and Separation Agreement). In addition, Allison consults and practices in all aspects of Emergency Protection Orders, Restraining Orders and Protection Orders whether you are the Claimant or the Respondent.
Allison has extensive Court experience as well as extensive experience in the private arbitration process. Allison also enjoys engaging in the collaborative process and will work with you to finalize your matter whether it is through the Court system or by engaging in a collaborative process. Allison will assist you with your matter whether it is high conflict or amicable or somewhere in between.
Allison has a reputation for being a tenacious advocate who zealously represents her client’s interests. Allison understands the importance of putting her client’s interests first.
Allison is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Calgary Bar.
Allison enjoys volunteering with Calgary Legal Guidance, travelling, hiking, reading non-fiction, and playing chess.
